They cut grass on golf courses all year round. Just use a higher cut on your mower.

I cut my lawns anytime of the year as long as it is not very wet or frozen, I cut my lawn today too.

Agree with the above - cut it when it needs it and is dry. I also got a good bag full of cuttings already and it looks tidier. Edging your lawn makes it look tidier without cutting and do use the highest setting as it is still early March.

I have cut my lawn three times this year so far....no problems. Once I cut the lawn on January 1st...again no problem. I would say if the grass needs cutting, it is dry enough to cut and the cut is set higher go ahead.

I have cut mine today for the second time this year, but I always cut mine so that it is about 3/4 of an inch long even during the summer, I am not a big believer in scalping the lawn as nothing looks worse than a lawn that looks dead in the very hot weather
