can you grow acers directly in the garden

Asked from the GoYpedia acer trees page

Answers

Yes they will. Click on A in the A-Z at the foot of the page and then click on acer trees. You will find plenty of inspiration there. Have a look at Bornsagains blog on a visit to Fourseasons Garden. It is amazing what the owners have done with this garden.

I grow one too, it's still small but will soon grow!

I had an Acer Palmatum in a big tub for six years in England, then moved it here where it spent another year in its tub. In Spring 2009 we planted it into the ground and this year it's the best it has ever been!

How do I say thanks?
