Iris siberica

How much wet can this tolerate? I wonder as my local gc has them as emergent [deeper than marginals] in their pond plant section. I have several in pots but if they could go in the pond that would be ideal.

There was similar q on here some years ago and the answer was a definite no, marginal is good, deeper water isn't.

Ah well another plan thwarted :o)
My pond is a raised one and the shallowest shelf is 10" down.

I wouldn't see it as a pond plant, Sbg. Ours grow well in the garden and can be quite dry at times.

How do I say thanks?
