Think it is candytuft. I have lots in my garden, looks wonderful great cushions of white and very reliable, after flowering i trim right back and seems to thrive.

Definately Perennial candytuft or Iberis sempervirens.
Fairly slow growing, they're like a sub-shrub. I have one that's no bigger than 18" across that has been like that for 15 years.

Yes its a real old faithful of mine, I just take the shears to mine once its finished flowering, been in my garden for over 40yrs and provided all my friends and family as well...
