If your corydalis is anything like my corydalis, splitting is the last thing mine needs. It gets everywhere. I do understand that the yellow form can be very intrusive in some gardens and not in others. Other gardeners can't get it going. I do not think I could split my Corydalis, as each plant is on its own root, and grows out of a central point. If I want to get rid of one I just grasp and pull! To move one is not easy ,they seem not to like it. Welcome to GoY. If you do decide to move it. Choose a seedling if you have any and make sure everything it well watered first.
