Short-lived perennial according to the description on mine. It's a sort of wallflower with a lovely scent and is very attractive to bees.

Hi, I agree with the above, it is a short lived perennial wallflower, wallflower use to be Cheiranthus, but have been reclassified as Erysimum, these are very prolific flowerers, which probably explains why they're short lived, they exhaust themselves flowering continuously, I have some that have been in flower for over 12 months, an are still going strong, but they just suddenly decide to die off, which is why you shoul take cuttings regularly, so that you have replacements at hand.
