here I am again, demanding all your brains, I have planted a number of dahlias in tubs, usually with lots of success, this year however, some of them are about 6" tall and producing buds!! and they are 40" dahlias, shall I pinch them all off, thank you

I've had some very young dahlia plants showing buds....just nip them off....there will be plenty more to come.....

I will check the size again. but they have very big leaves for 40 cm!!

if they are meant to be 40" then i would be tempted too. are you sure they are not a 40cm one though. The plant info often gets the sizes muddled.
