Nemophilia question.
Hi all. Today I planted up my hanging baskets, Iv'e put some Nemophilia around the sides, I have never grown this before but they look quite healthy, should I pinch them out or not? I'm also not sure if they will like being in a basket :(

I agree, never needed to pinch them out in the past. I have put them in baskets as an alternative to lobelia and they did very well until we went away on holiday. hot dry weather and no water ...'nuff said :o(

Thanks. I'll just leave them be then and see what show they put on. Its always interesting for me when I buy a plant Iv'e not had before, to see what it looks like in flower. I'll look forward to it flowering.

Hi, they shouldn't nee pinching out, as their natural habit is to spread, they're usually planted as edging for beds, or in window boxes, so shouldn't have any problem with a hanging basket, but keep them well watered, as if we get any hot dry weather, they tend to stop flowering, if they don't get plenty water, Derek.
