Hello, Could anyone identify this tree? (Sorry about the washing!) Also, we would like to 'prune' it so that it is a bit shorter, and the foliage is encouraged to grow correspondingly closer to the ground. Lastly, when is the best time to prune?

Yea, I did that, Snoop, but then its too fuzzy to see detail.

I suppose it depends on the resolution of the picture. A large (high resolution) picture would work great.

If you mean the plant at the back with thin trunks, I'm afraid the picture isn't close enough to pick up detail - it looks vaguely as if there might be flowers. Can you take more of a close up please?
