The dreaded ipad question

I went to one of the top guys at the Apple store yesterday and asked why my photos arrived upside down. He'd never been asked that one before, but said it must be something to do with the website. So I still haven't solved the problem.
But perhaps someone else has by now ? If not, I'm sending 2 in future - 1 correct and 1 upside down.

take the picture upside down (with the iPad) then when you upload it, it should be the right way round...

There's no pattern to which images will turn upside diene and it doesn't seem to make any difference as to which way you hold the ipad when taking the pic.

The best way to resolve the issue is to use an editing app to reduce the size of the image - most ipad images are way too big to upload anyway. Try apps such as Minima, ImageResize or AutoResize - find one you like and stick with it.

We had quite a discussion a few months ago and I did some trials of apps - Minima is very easy to use as it has a number of preset sizes. See http://www.growsonyou.com/question/show/165867

Thanks for the replies.
John - i'm definitely not standing on my head. I know because things appear the right way up.
Catty, -i tried your suggestion so long ago I've forgotten the results, but will try again.
Steveg- I looked at the website but it appeared to be all about an iphone and windows, whereas this is an ipad and my browser is safari ( unless I perhaps missed something)
Urbanite - am still digesting your suggestion.
Any more remedies very welcome.
