i have daphne odora in a largish old terracotta pot - lots of yellow leaves keep coming - I know it is better in the ground but not able to at the moment - should i be watering with rainwater? thanks

It's not an acid loving plant particularly, but this one is a woodland variety, so requires a fair bit of shade, preferably dappled shade. Give it a broad spectrum feed which is balanced, something like Miracle Gro general purpose or a handful or two of Growmore stirred into the top of the compost, or Phostrogen watered on.
