Good Evening Today we have been visiting 10 open gardens in the area of Catfield in Suffolk. Several of the cottage gardens have a plant we would love to have however no one knows the name of it. Basically it shoots up to 2/ 3ft high and every 8" up the stem it looks like like a tiny bunch of little yellow banana shape flowers. One lady say they do seed around and another person I overheard said a Pineapple plant. The leaves look like foxglove leaves and they seem to be clump forming. Be wonderful if you can find a name so I can try all the nurseries around my area. Thank you Mrs Knights

Take a look at Phlomis russeliana. I asked a question recently on a similar sounding plant and was given this name. By the way welcome to GOY. You can enter the plant in the search box up above.
