Salix tree. I think it is a very pretty small tree no more than 4ft, with weeping branches, they were very popular a few years ago but never see them now. Have looked on here but no luck . Thanks for any suggestions

Thank you Derek. I had given up on getting any answers to my question. so was very pleased to hear from you
Now I can look on Garden Nursery sites with a name and will let you know how I get on. I know just the spot where I want it to go , that is a bit unusual for me as have a habit of buying because I like the plant and then searching in my very densely planted garden for a space. Cheers Mary

Hi, have a look at Salix caprea 'Kilmarnock', grows 5 to 6 ft, depending on the height of the graft, Derek.
