I've no idea what you mean, Guest, those two things are contradictory - no fronds, but fronds are there.

I've just seen the earlier part of this question on the next page.
I have some ferns growing in a large pot at the bottom of my garden.
I never do anything to them but they come back year after year. You could say (you'll like this Bamboo) they're good fronds of mine. ;-)
