Hello everyone, does anyone know a cheap way to clean the patio flag stones on my back door. Also last year bought 2 trailing begonia hanging baskets, will they flower again this year, if so when. Thankyou forgot to say we have no pressure washer thanks again

I agree Re the pressure washer. It works wonders!

Bleach and a stiff broom are what I used before I had a pressure washer. Now we are the proud owners of the wonderful yellow machine. We found them to be very easy to use, a small one is only about £60, and my husband uses it for the windows and car as well as the garden. Oh dear, I sound like an advertisement!!!!

We also use it for our car & caravan but on a lower pressure :o))

no pressure washer, a stiff broom or even hands and knees with an old fashioned scrubbing brush. Bleach or possibly a jeyes fluid.

Anything to just improve the contact of water and flagstones - even washing up liquid would do. Add washing soda if your water is hard. Then a really stiff brush, and lots of elbow grease. If there is moss in the joints sprinkle washing soda over it and spray gently to wet it. leave a couple of days and then scrub off. if you have a large area it might be worth hiring a pressure washer of asking an odd job man to do it for you - lots of people do this now.
