On plant Phoenix canariensis

Answers

According to our local "Exotics" nursery, Phoenix canariensis is only hardy in the coastal fringes of Devon, Cornwall, Wales and southern Ireland, with a little microclimate hotspot in the centre of London as well.

Grow it in a pot outside between beginning of June until early September, then move indoors or into a greenhouse, unless you live in one of the areas Beattie lists above.
