Phoenix canariensis tips please

I am unsure about these palms as they are the first I ever owned.-any advice please...including speed of growth-behaviour etc.

They are slow growing in Britain and should be protected from the worst of the winter weather (if you have them outside). Keep them well watered during summer and trim off dead leaves as necessary.
