Who is guest?

I didn't get around to planting my beautiful 4' Spanish Broom plants and they dried up in a heat wave and in windy weather. All the stems are dried to a crisp however, it still has a thick strong base of old wood. Can they be saved?

Give them a good soak before planting and keep well watered then fingers crosssed
