A different hydrangea question I've a smallish lacecap, variegated leaves, white flowers (don't know variety, grown form a gifted cutting). It's getting holes in the leaves that begin with small circular brown areas that spread and then go into holes. Is this shothole and what's the treatment?

Maybe Cercospora leaf spot?

Whatever's that? Not heard of that one - how do you treat it if that's what it is?

I've googled it now and it does look like it. i didn't recognise any of the fungicides names in the suggested treatment list though. fortunately its well away from the other hydrangeas but if it happens next year maybe it will have to go.
