what kind of soil for nerine bulbs grown in pots?

I have 3/4 Nerine(Nerine flexuosa /gracilis) bulbs and I plant them in compost/sand mix about 60% sand and 40% compost as they need to be very well drained like any other amaryllis bulbs also note when they have died back it is worth removing the bulb and storing in a warm dry place over winter
