Does anyone know why my Rowan tree is losing its leaves, they are turning brown and crispy? There are still some green leaves on it too and it flowered normally this year. It's a pink berried variety and not that big a tree. We have had it for 9 years. It has not suffered from lack of water as far as we can tell, maybe too much?? It's Sorbus Vilmorinii.

Ok thanks for your ideas - here's hoping it recovers :)

possibly from the heat we have been having lately. Or if its in a windy sight then that would also be a cause.
some years mine does this then recovers later.
