I'm getting married next April and want to have different types of daffodils for the flowers. Does anyone have any advice on which are best, when they should be planted to help with them blooming at the right time and planting and care tips? Thanks

Don't forget to add in a few early varieties (in case we get a cold spring like last year) and some later-flowering ones for a mild spring (like this year). The weather can affect the flowering times.

whilst it is lovely to have grown your own flowers it might be prudent to ask florists for their advice on availability and choice of blooms. they will have a good idea and provide a safety net should the spring deliver the nasty weather. Hope it doesn't but I married in April and we had sun and snow! A proper white wedding :o)

Have a look at Suttons bulb catalogue. Huge number of varieties in there.Order asap and plant when they arrive.
