Replacement M.P. Tree.

I'm not sure how I dare ask this question as you must be totally fed up with by now. Once I've cut ithe too large Monkey puzzle down from the centre of my very small front garden I need something to replace it.
I have a very nice 2metres tall Bay tree which I'm sure is dying to come out of it's pot. Would this suffice ?
Many thanks for your patience.

Hank, you suggested this under the other thread - I've responded there with a very loud and resounding Nooooo.... for it will not stay as you see it now. Imagine it in the ground 10 feet high and and crown that's 8 feet wide... have a look at the other thread if you want, I asked how much room there is, exactly.

Have a look at Salix hakuro-nishiki (on a standard stem) provided the soil doesn't dry out a lot, or Kilmarnock Willow, or if there's room, Amelanchier varieties, there are a few smaller ones.

Many thanks B, I never dreamed my bay would grow like that - it has hardly grown at all in since I put it into the large(r) pot a couple of years ago. I'm so glad I asked.
I'll have a look at the 3 you mentioned.

I forgot to mention that Amelanchier prefers acidic soil - A. 'Obelisk' might be small enough for that area.
