Hi, does anyone know if the Wiltshire Ripple Sweet Pea is an annual or Biennial plant. I found one plant in with my parsley last year, obviously a bird had dropped it. I planted it by some Trellis and it became huge. Around 6ft tall. It survived all through the Winter and flowered this year. I have lots of seeds that I collected. Many thanks.

Hi, Wiltshire ripple is a variety of Lathyrus odoratus, and as such is an annual, seed can be sown in autumn or spring, if you sow them in autumn, and you live in an area which gets a lot of frost, grow them in a cold frame, otherwise sow them where you want them to flower, Derek.
