I have a sunny border packed with perenials and shrubs. No space inbetween plants. I have tropaeolum ciliatum climbing up everything. I pull off the climbing tips when I see them but cannot get down to soil to dig out roots. Do you have any advice for me? I am beginning to wish I had never put it in my garden.

On plant Tropaeolum ciliatum

Try a systemic weedkiller but be careful you don't get any on plants you intend to keep.
