When to harvest potatoes?

We have tried to grow potatoes in sacks for the first time and are not sure when to harvest. They are early potatoes ('Rocket' and 'Charlotte') and we have been adding soil as the foliage grows. There are now lots of leaves at the top and some flowering. I'm a little worried that we started them a bit late - we didn't plant them until the end of May so they've had about 2 months in the bag.

Once the plant flowers you can harvest your crop anytime for new potatoes. But if you want bigger potatoes leave for at least 2/3 months then harvest. For storage leave to dry out for a couple of days before putting away.
