one part of my pot planted agapanthus is rotting due to damage in the winter. It was left outside on a reasonably sheletered patio but exposed to rain and snow. Just one part of the root has gone mushy and does not seem to be hardening or drying. The rest of the plant is fine and has grown well and flowered.
Does anyone know how to stop it rotting any further as I am afraid I will lose the rest of the plant?
