I bought a 6x8 aluminium one about 30+ years ago and it is still going strong.

I inherited an aluminium one when I bought my current house in 1984. It's still going strong, despite being moved to rebuild the base and then put back again.

We bought the cheapest 6x8 from B&Q years ago. It is still going fine.
