Someone gave me these yesterday, said they were perennials. Can anyone identify any of them ? And are any of them suitable for my rockery ? And will any of them grow tall ? Thanks

Back Row from left ('looks like' in all cases)
Aubretia, a low plant suitable for a rockery
Aquilegia, depends on variety. Some are tall cottage garden plants, others very small and we have a number in our rockeries
Don't know
Front Row
Don't know
Delphinium, again depends on variety. Might be a tall plant but some are small enough for a rockery

Right side, back row looks like a Primula. Agree with Bulbaholic about the rest.

Thanks, delighted it's aubretia as I bought some seeds yesterday which I gather won't flower for ages. That one's already in the rockery.

front right is possibly a fern if it is then not for your rockery.

Front left is possibly a pot marigold

Thanks again, I've labelled them with your suggestions and will keep my eye on them
They've made the rockery look better whatever they are.

How do I say thanks?
