Me too, bumble bees and honey bees are active in my garden (probably not today though!).

Plenty of bumbles but no honeybees yet...

Had bumble bees in January but that's not unusual on warm days. They seem to like the winter honeysuckle. Not seen any honey bees.

I've had honey and bumble bees on my camellias, they seem to love them.

yep quite a few and a 'reddy orange bum' one too. They were active this morning on the skimmia and pulmonaria.

Hi Kath, yes I saw a bumble bee at the start of the month, not seen any honey bees yet though, but there isn't very much in flower yet, Derek.

On my side of the world I have see quite a few honey bee scouts, even in this cold spring we are having. I haven't seen this in many years.. A very good sign. Perhaps the terrible blight on their hives has run its course and is coming to an end or the possibility that natural selection has given forth a bee that is resistant to this disease...I hope.
