Does anybody know how many gardens Monty Don has? I have heard him mention his jewel garden, cottage garden, shaded garden, vegetable garden, planting out garden, etc? Very impressed by his tool shed, all those spades polished and hung in order of length.

I think they are all sections of the main garden, but he also has plenty of help, and lovely greenhouses.

I can think of the dry garden and he's just started creating a new wildlife garden, oh and the writing garden :)

just found an article which says it is a 2 acre garden with 24 gardens within and that he prefers the other presenters not to work in there, this was 2 years ago so he may have more now!

One, near to Leominster - it's called Longmeadow and it is, presumably, maintained at the expense of the British TV licence payer. The land bought in Edgbaston by Gardeners' World in 2009 as a permanent home for the programme was abandoned when the Drone returned as lead presenter.

He must have an army of help. It wears me out just thinking about it but beautiful and very productive. I like Nigel best.

I think he has two gardeners to help him no (excluding Nigel).
