Iris species id please.
My brother has decided to change his very small garden again. but he doesn't bother keeping labels or remembering what is what ! Can't all be eager beavers ;o)
So it is a rhizome, foliage about 10" tall [may get taller as the season progresses], the flowers are a beautiful pale blue. the flower has a small beard.

I did wonder about germanica but mine are so much taller than these usually about 2-2.5' [50-75cm] tall. It is a beautiful one so it will have to remain a mystery.
I love it when he changes his garden as I always get first refusal.

Probably Iris germanica as a species, Sbg, but there are hundreds of form and hybrids with a wide range of colours and sizes.
