This year there seems to be masses of Cowslips everywhere, on roadside Banks etc . Through out Cambridgeshire ,Traveling also to Norfolk & even on the way to Swindon . I have never in my life seen so many , obviously a very good year for them .Has any other members experienced the same where they live ?

I live in south Cambridshire / North Herts area and, like you, have never seen the verges so rich in yellow cowslips.
They are pure joy and let's enjoy them until they fade and come again, like old friends, next year.

I think they are getting better year by year as the farmers have to leave a 2 meter margin around their fields nowadays which is neither cultivated nor sprayed in order to let both wild life and wild flowers flourish. The scheme seems to be working.

Lots here too, but more so with the primroses, an absolutely record year for them.
