Beetles again. The longest is exactly 7 mm long. One beetle on the left hand side is still alive and crawling.

There are about 4000 species of beetle in the British Isles. If nobody can give you a confident answer here try sending a closeup picture to Ispot.

Had a troll through various sites and the nearest I can get is the following, not saying it is this as it appears to be quite rare, but check what sort of trees you have nearby, might help.

or send a few to the natural history museum for identification. they do it for free too.

Don't know what they are, Hank, but not woodworm/furniture beetle. Those are brown and look like a bit of broken pencil lead.
