Layering means laying a live stem from the plant, still attached to it, on the soil, cutting a little piece with a sharp knife part-way through, and pinning this damaged section down into the soil each side with bent bits of wire. Then you wait for ages until you see that it's rooted itself, after which, you can cut each side through and pot up your new baby plant.
Internodal cuttings are just pieces of a stem, cut above the leaf joint (node) up to the next one. You can make one stem into several cuttings, which you then insert into a gritty mixture in a pot - round the edge is best. Make sure they go in the pot the same way up as they'd have been growing on the stem.
Does all that make sense? Please do ask again if it doesn't.

A 'Master Class' indeed, SH - that has helped me too. Thanks.

I'm glad that you understood all that, Peonyrose. I just hope that Cooknray did, too. :-)))

You can either take internodal cuttings or layer it. If you don't mind if it differs from the original you can grow it from seed.
