It's taken me ages to grow these little guys and they're still only about 1 inch tall. I had twice as many as this but every time I watered them - some died !
Question is - can I put them in my rockery, is so - when, do I put them separately or all together ? And once they're in, dare I water them ?

Thanks for that, B, i've obviously set them in the wrong stuff altogether. Will alter it asap.
I set them about 3 months ago

I would judge them to be too small to survive outdoors yet, Hank. When did you sow them, this year? If so they have done Ok for size but what I don't like is the compost. It looks to be too solid and without drainage material. The green mould on the surface indicates that it is pure peat?
Try repotting them in a loam based compost such as John Innes #2 with some extra grit in it. Give put a layer of grit on the surface of the compost and arrange to have a sheet of glass/cold frame/cold greenhouse to protect them from too much wet this winter.
