Conifer id please.
Although it looks very similar to cryptomeria japonica elegans Google searches are not coming up with anything quite the same as mine & I'm wondering if it's something else.
We bought it about 7 years ago as a reasonable size bush & I have it in my mind that it was a Chinese plant which crypto isn't & that the name was long & I didn't recognise it.
All the branches are soft & feathery, both old & new & in winter it changes colour to copper. The tips of branches all hang down giving it a somewhat tipsy look. It's in an open position on an incline & seems quite happy.
I haven't seen any cones on it.

Thanks, Tug, for your suggestion.
I have been studying the comparisons & I have found my plant.
It's CRYPTOMERIA JAPONICA 'ELEGANS COMPACTA'.
It's a lovely conifer that doesn't get out of hand or too big yet is consistent in it's habit & neither does it lose its brightness. Changes colour 3 times during the year, bright green to purple then copper.
