Just watching Monty and he's planting fritillaries and in the background are really healthy foxgloves. Mine finished nearly two months ago. Is the programme an old one?

Monty explained early in the programme that the weather conditions have been so unusual this year ... hence the flowers blooming at a strange time of year for them. He also showed Hellebores in bloom ... enjoy them while you can!

His gardens are always sheltered by hedges. May be a
factor.

I've just noticed a foxglove coming into flower in my garden, along with the lupin, strange. An early frosts will soon sort them out :-(
