It is what Badfish says, but it does not have any effect on the moles round here.
Another one of those allow it to seed once and weed it out for years plants.

It's a caper spurge or Euphorbia lathyrus. Probably dropped by the birds, it's quite a nice wildflower. The white, milky sap can be an irritant
