how do I look after my cordyline over winter, some say fleese it others say dont.I live on the coast

I always wrap mine , plus the pot. I have not lost any in 15yrs.

I've never wrapped mine, but I am in the milder South West of the UK (South Wales). As you're on the coast, yours should be fine too.

Agree with Rosierose, if you're within 10 miles of the sea, it should be fine if its in a sheltered spot, so I'd leave it alone unless and until we know how hard the winter's going to be. If its severe, then you might want to protect it.

I wrap mine up for the winter Nellie after losing two a couple of years ago to the cold. Fleece and tied at top.
