what's the foliage like? could it be one of the Leucanthemums? or possibly a Kalermeris?

There are so many daisy type flowers......I thought aster too, the flowers quite big though?

Thanks Pam. The flowers are about as big as a 2p piece. I'm wondering if its what Seaburn said it might be - Kalermeris. I have a few around so i think I've grown from seed but no record, someone probably gave me the seed. Thanks all.

Sorry Dawn it didn't come from me , it does look rather like a Kalermeris , its a pretty plant and just right for this time of the year, nice bright & cheerful !

Hi Amy, the plot thickens, thought it may have come from your seed.

Dawn I've found the name of the one Jimmy gave me its ..Anthemis tinctoria mine was lemon but it looks as if it comes in white as well . I haven't googled it ,it might be worth a peep !

Anthemis does not come in blue or lilac, only in yellows and white.
Very difficult to distinguish between Aster and Kalermis or even Boltonia, even for botanists.
