It's a cricket and quite rare apparently.

Great Green Bush cricket, Britain's largest. Only ever seen it once, on the cliffs about Porlock Bay, many many years ago now.

Did not realise you were so close to us Snoopdog. We are only a few miles North West of Whixall Moss.

This cricket is a female as can be seen by the long swordlike ovipositor at the end on the abdomen.

And the way to recognise a male is it doesn't hear you unless you shout...
