There are over 5000 species of Jumping Spider - they are the most common family of spiders in fact, so it's not going to be possible to ID yours without a more detailed description I'm afraid.

As long as it doesn't come anywhere near me I don't care what its called!

The Salticidae (Jumping Spiders) are a bit of an interest to me and have been for many years. Don't suppose you could post a picture could you?

if you dont live near a dock or a banana factory or something like that i shouldnt worry about it though every spider on the planet is poisonas . just not enough for us to notice or not bog enough teeth or enough venom to effect us in this country . id like to see it myself . i like spiders .
