i have a very small garden and want climbers to go round all my fencing, which climber would give me the privacy I am looking for all year round

You could grow Clematis cirrhosa - there are several, like 'Freckles' or 'Lansdowne Gem'...they're evergreen, and flower in the winter. 'Freckles' is also giving me a second lot of flowers now.

Trachleospermum jasminoides is evergreen, likes a sunny spot, but as you're in Yorkshire, might be better to plant it in spring. Has fragrant flowers in summer.

Try ceonothus - not strictly a climber but will train along a fence and grow quickly - get the evergreen one - beautiful blue flowers that bees love in Spring too.
