Has anyone seen these for sale anywhere? I spotted these decorative thistle plant supports when reading Daylilley's blog on Ashwood Nurseries at John Massey's private gardens in May last year. Have been looking around for these since and as it's my birthday coming up I would be grateful if anyone could point me into the right direction?
I have emailed Ashwood Nurseries but to no avail. Thanks :).

Nope, never seen anything as nice as that, but I suspect they're made by a craftsman, possibly individually to order. Nothing online looks like it, but there is a site you could visit and contact the owners - they say they make to order, so contact them and see if they can come up with something similar. Link below

Thanks Bamboo and Steragram, have looked at the recommended websites and will enquire further. Got a feeling they will be quite expensive though!

Oh yes....I'm sure they will!

I'm probably being thick but why don't you email John Massey's website and ask them (if that's where the photo was taken).

I have done that more than once but got no answer!

I expect you've already heard from Ashwood nursery but I emailed them at the beginning of last month and have had a reply. They do sell them and you can ring Jonathan on 01384 401996 Tues to Thurs for availability and prices. They are actually made by dragonswoodforge.co.uk/events.php
Good luck.

Cammomile- I just heard from them yesterday, what a coincidence! Contacted Neil from Dragons
Wood Forge and they're £195 each! There was me hoping I'd get one for Mothers' Day!! Ha, ha!!

Well maybe you'll win the lottery! That's extortionate!

Yes and I wanted three!! (Not) I can keep on dreaming.....

I'm not surprised by the price, they are beautiful, and when you think they're a piece of art as well as useful... tell you what, I'd rather have a couple of those than a new mobile phone or tablet or enormous tv screen or some fancy, expensive watch or even an expensive meal out.... can't you ask for a couple as Mothers Day/birthday/christmas all in one? I quite fancy a couple myself... and £195 is what, a couple of week's groceries for 2-3 people? A meal for 4 in a reasonable restaurant?

Don't know why but am drawn to them for some teason? Not often struck by things but would really really like a few in my garden. Unfortunately am having new bathroom fitted over the next couple of weeks so will just have to wait and save up. Coupled with redundancies at work now is not a good time....:(

Hmm, shame - but I'm very drawn to them too, I think they're fab, a joy to the eye.
