What kind of plant is this?

From the stem I'd say a begonia of some kind but I'm no expert.

I'd say the leaves look like it's some sort of succulent but I'm no expert either. The flowers look like something you'd find on a begonia though.

It's Kalanchoe blossfeldiana, but could do with a bit of TLC :)

If that's what it is you can cut the long bare stems back to one or two leaf joints near the base and they should sprout lower down making it more compact. You can then cut off a few inches from the stem you removed and plant that as a cutting in open gritty compost which should be kept pretty dry until it roots.
