A few weeks ago, I asked for advice on my wisteria. It was newly planted and doing nothing at all. Someone suggested scraping the stem to see if it was green. I did this, and it was.
I've just come back from a week's holiday and it has burst forth!

that is so pleasing to hear how it is doing. my 20 yr old one has sprung into leaf not a single flower grr. I keep saying i'll dig it out but the leaves are so pretty. when I retire I will be able to prune it at the right time etc. well that's the plan.
