How to care for a young cordyline plant

Answers

Doesn't need much, but as its young, its at risk in winter. Should be fine IF we have a mild winter, especially if you live in a city, though it might look a bit tatty by spring. But if we have a cold winter, then I'm afraid you're stuck with tying the leaves up like a ponytail and wrapping in fleece, which will then need removing as soon as the freezing spell is over, then replacing if/when it gets really cold again. Alternatively, pot it up and stand the pot in a greenhouse for winter. Note that the red leaved version is a little more vulnerable to cold than the green form.
