I have a rampant blue passion flower rambling through a wisteria. I want to keep the wisteria looking healthy and robust, should i try and disconnect the two plants, or just prune harshly back?

Ah well, that choice is yours to make! All I can say is the Wisteria should be pruned now, and again in midwinter.
