Pruning. When is the best time to prune this Viburnum shrub? Have attached photo's but not sure which variety it is? Hasn't had a prune in a long time so wondered if I could prune it hard, would it regrow? Many thanks.

I d do it after flowering. if you do it now you will lose the flowers in the spring.

It's a Viburnum tinus, a winter- and early spring-flowerer. As such, the best time to prune is late spring or early summer. You'll lose the berries, of course.

Hard-pruning is fine - they don't mind at all.
